Cullinan Day tours - Diamond Room

The diamond room houses replicas of famous diamonds discovered in the mine such as the one that was used in the crown jewels.  On display are all the various facets of diamond processing from it's raw state to the glittering end result that we are familiar with.  The different stages of the product and procedure on display is quite fascinating!

This deposit is not only famous for the discovery of large gem-quality diamonds but also for its abundance of 'fancy'-coloured gem stones including pink, yellow, and, most sought after, blue varieties.
