All Chalets have 1 double downstairs, equipped kitchen, lounge with TV with stairs to loft, 3 singles upstairs.
All are self catering. Loft not advisable for kids under 6yo - stairs are very steep.
Outside is a table with 5 chairs as well as a braai (BBQ) area with a grid.
pilanesberg campsite - safari tents at Bakgatla Safari Tents (5 only) are en suite, have 2 single beds, 1 double sleeper couch, small fridge, no TV, Table with 4 chairs for outside, BBQ with grid outside. The fence of the Park is a couple of metres from the veranda. No kitchen or cooking inside. The restaurant is about 200m away.

Chalet rates are with breakfast, or with b/f and supper - no self catering rates
. Though we give the supper rates as well, we recommend booking breakfast only.
Restaurant opens at 7h00 for breakfast till 10h00 in the week, and 11h00 on weekends and public holidays.
Note that the last kitchen order is at 21h00 (9pm). If you come from Jo'burg at 19h00/7pm, then eat before you leave.
    To book payment to us in full within 48 hours after we confirm availability please, if after, we can not guarrantee space..
Please note that staying Friday or Saturday you have to pay for 2 nights min.

There is 1 shop at Bakgatla selling all the basics; open the same hours as the Park gates. There are no supermarkets nearby. The closest hospital is now in Ledig, - they don't carry anti snake venom. George Stegman has closed! There is a Garage about 7km's from the gate on the Northam Road - just go straight once out the gate. For breakdowns expect to pay at least R200pp, probably R350pp to Gametrackers to take you out the Park.
