I just got back from 2 nights at Tshukudu Bush Lodge in Pilanesberg. Since I had such a wonderful time there and found it to be absolutely AMAZING I thought it was only fair that I let others know how great this lodge is.
We were there 2 nights and had 4 game drives. Our guide was fabulous and found all of the big 5 for us to see. He also showed us so much more than just the big 5. We saw a bunch of other animals including beautiful birds and lizards.
The lodge itself is like something from the travel channel. It is perched on a hill out in the middle of Pilanesberg and is only accessible by the safari vehicles. The cottage was very authentic with the thatched roof and amazing views down to the water hole. The food was wonderful including a 5 course dinner every evening and sundowners on the drives. You get to choose whatever type of drink you would like for your sundowner so I chose a glass of wine.
I can't say enough good things about Tshukudu Bush Lodge, their food or their game drivers. I highly reccomend it! This is just my opinion but I thought I should pass it along.(Then asked if I could publish it. Answered same day)
....I don't mind one bit if you show my positive comments about Pilanesberg or Tshukudu Bush Lodge wherever you want. I had such a wonderful time that I just feel I should share.
As far as the 1 glass of wine goes...we could have had as much as we wished. I just wanted 1 glass because the last thing I would want is to be tipsy and miss out on seeing the wildlife.Oh, and you asked which guide I had.....Our guide was Zander and he was fantastic!
