ITINERARY :
Day 1 - Pickup from your guesthouse/hostel
or Johannesburg Airport and . Drive to Tremisana Game Lodge where we can now
do a Sunset Drive. We should arrive at Tremisana by 17h00 at the latest. After
a short break we go on a late afternoon game drive .It affords our guests
an opportunity to see the magnificent African sunset (and possibly toast to
it with an appropriate liquid ‘Sundowner’). After dark, we will locate nocturnal
animals using spotlights.
Day 2 - After breakfast, we depart
for the Orpen Gate of Kruger Park. From your open Game viewer you are afforded
an outstanding opportunity to fully experience Africa's wild animals. The
elevated vantage position and absence of glass windows allow for truly unforgettable
sight, sound and scent experiences and brilliant photographic opportunities.
Spend the full day game viewing and bird watching in the company of a knowledgeable
guide. Overnight in your romantic tree lodge with the sounds of the African
night to lull you to sleep.
Day 3 : - Another full day of game
viewing and bird watching from the open Game viewer. Your guide will use his
intimate knowledge of the Park and travel along different roads in an attempt
to show you the Big Five. From your open Game viewer, your chances of seeing
the Big Five are greatly enhanced. Dinner and overnight at the tree lodge.
Day 4 - In the early morning, your
armed ranger will attempt to approach, on foot, the resident buffalo herd
that has made our tree lodge its home. After breakfast, we drive via the Blyde
River Canyon to the Three Rondawels. We then return to Gauteng, arriving by
17h00 in Pretoria and 18h00 at JIA, 18h30 Jo'burg

Trip Report
DAY 1 : We were picked up from the Airport at 10h15 and made
our way to Dullstroom where we had lunch.
We arrived at the Lodge at 17h20. There were 2 toilet stops en-route.
After a short break we went on the evening game drive a short while later.
Then it was onto our Tree Lodge for supper.
The Tree Houses are rustic and comfortable. Electric lights and a fan and
mosquito nets. Bedding and towels and soap are also provided. Some have
bathrooms in the hut but mine was below the hut. You could also buy beer
or wine from the bar.
DAY 2 : Breakfast at 07h30 and we departed 08h15 for the Kruger Park. Changed
vehicles at Orpen Gate to the Open Vehicle.
Game viewing until the park closed. Lunch was at Satara Camp. We saw the
Big 5 and many other animals.
Day 3 : Breakfast at 07h30 and we departed 08h15 for the Kruger Park. Changed
vehicles at Orpen Gate to the Open Vehicle.
Game viewing until the park closed. Lunch was at Satara Camp. We saw Elephant
and Buffalo of the Big 5 and many other animals.
DAY4 : Breakfast at 07h30 and we departed 08h15 for Blyde River Canyon
and the 3 Rondawels View Point and made our way back to Dullstroom where
we had lunch.
We arrived back at Johannesburg/Pretoria 17h00. There were 2 toilet stops
en-route.
